Immigrating to the USA from China in the early 2000s, Brother Yi first heard about the Good Word in Virginia. Inspired by God, he moved to Maryland soon after to attend seminary in Towson. After graduating, he worked with a number of local Chinese Christian Churches in the Greater Baltimore Area as a pastor.

During the pandemic, Pastor Yi Zhang found his calling and has been working tirelessly to spread the God's word in Cambodia since 2022.
